Why can I not stop the Thunderbird home page from appearing when my mail loads, I just want it to go to my email accounts

Thunderbird 50.0 keeps bringing up the page for Local Folders and the Splash Screen for System Integration keeps appearing every time I load Thunderbird. I have told the System Integration to skip integration and every time I load Thunderbird I have to tell it to skip the integration again, it just keeps appearing. I have unchecked "Always perform this check when starting Thunderbird" every time and it still appears.

So in a nut shell: 1. Even though I do not want to see the Local Folders screen, only my emails the Local Folders screen keeps appearing every time I load Thunderbird. 2. No matter what I do the "System Integration" splash screen appears every time I load Thunderbird.

None of this happened with the previous version of Thunderbird.

The current release version of Thunderbird is 45. There is a beta out there for V50, but like most beta software, it is going to exhibit odd things as the development cycle continues. I suggest you file a bug. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
