I am trying to set up an office 365 email account.

I am using the identical account name ad password that I successfully use to log in to the account via Web Mail

The account set up fails on the final verification stating that either the account name or password are not recognised or are incorrect.

The server settings etc are all found as they should be.

I am 100% certain that the account name and password are correct

The same account has successfully been added to Outlook and my BlackBerry using the identical details

You probably need to set up an App password.

Hotmail/Outlook Mail: Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ and log into your Hotmail/Microsoft Account. Go to "Security & privacy", then "More security settings" under "Account security". Go down to "Two-step verification" to set your App passwords.
