why can't firefox be as good as google? Why can't you make it so videos play automatically instead of having to search for add ons that don't work?
Firefox is very frustrating compared to Google Chrome. All this about volunteers and forums and such. Who made firefox so that it can't play videos on facebook? Why did I get a remark that my windows vista is out of date? Can't you just make firefox play videos without all this complication?

At this time Firefox does not have a built-in flash player. It does have an HTML5 player installed.
Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
Flash Player Version: 24.0.0.186

The installer for the adobe flash player will not install. I double click and it just sits there.

Sometimes this is caused by the Windows Installer accumulating too many deferred updates. Usually the queue is cleared when you shut down or restart Windows. If you haven't done that in a long time, please try that first.
If you are using the smaller Flash installer, it needs to connect back to Adobe for additional files. This sometimes is blocked by security software. You can try a "full" installer instead:

Note that Macromedia is the original developer of Flash and was acquired by Adobe, so macromedia.com is an official Adobe site.
