How do I set it so I don't have to recheck the save logon info every time I open firefox?

Every time I start Firefox I have to go in to the options/ security/ privacy and check the "remember logins for sites" and "remember history" boxes. Is there a way to set it so it always remembers these?

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
