On many websites the font and zoom levels are way diffferent than IE11. I added the zoom add on and it hasn't made any difference on any of the sites as i said nfl.com is way off.

What zoom add-on -- there are several? Firefox has a built-in zoom feature. Try disabling the add-on and using the built-in feature unless you found a specific problem with it that the add-on will solve.

As you know, you can view, disable, and often configure and remove extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions.

It's a good idea to review the list from time to time to disable or remove obsolete extensions, or any you don't recognize or remember installing.

Does Firefox respond normally to increasing and decreasing zoom by increasing and decreasing the text and image size in the page? In the address bar, toward the right end, you should see a little icon with a percentage on it when zoom is in use. How far down do you have to go before the NFL site completely fits the window?

When zooming in and out it only affects the text not images and nfl.com never completely fits the window.

Did you check whether "Text Zoom Only" is turned on? On the menu bar, use View > Zoom to check that. If it is turned on, click it to turn it off so that zoom proportionally resizes the images as well as the text.

Can you give us screenshots of nfl.com at its normal 100% zoom level then at say 150% zoom level in both Firefox and IE then for comparison can you do the same for this support site.

The NFL site looks normal to me and zooms in Firefox as expected. At about 120% zoom level it is too big to fit the screen and the scroll bar needs to be used to see all of the site. This support site behaves in a similar way for me.
