Firefox crashes when resumed the window from minimized state
I'm running firefox on Kubuntu 16.04. Everytime when I resume the firefox window after I have minimized it for awhile, it has a chance to crash. The issue has been there since version 51, and still exist with version 54 now. As it happens randomly, no test has been run with safemode.
Some crash reports: bp-b8dd5dcc-d490-4ba7-8ec1-05e8c0170809 bp-c59063f9-6ae8-4dc2-8cd9-bd0e10170809
Thanks in advance for any helps.

Hello,
The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.
Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.
To Refresh Firefox:
- Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
- Click the menu button , click help and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
- At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
- Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
- Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.
Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

Do you have a crash report GUID from Firefox from the Mozilla server?
This report looks like an X11 issue:
- bp-b8dd5dcc-d490-4ba7-8ec1-05e8c0170809
- Firefox 54.0 Crash Report [@ Abort | X_SendEvent: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) | mozalloc_abort | NS_DebugBreak | X11Error ]

Sorry that I'm not sure what type of report do I need to post, but I have put all I get from about:crashes below (seems X11 does cause problems in many cases?)

You can try to modify multi-process settings to see if this has effect.
- set dom.ipc.processCount to 1 if it is currently set to a higher value (4)
- disable multi-process windows in Firefox
You can disable multi-process windows in Firefox by setting these prefs to false on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
