'Too many concurrent SMTP connections " errors Is there a limit to the number of email accounts I have
I have just installed Thunderbird and am setting up several accounts. They seemed to be working OK< but when I tried to send a message from one of them I get the error 'Too many concurrent SMTP connectionas. Please try later" . What is going on there? Is there a limit to the number of email accounts I set up with Thunderbird, or is something eklse happening?

It's definitely not a common issue. see http://lmgtfy.com/?q=thunderbird+%22Too+many+concurrent+SMTP+connections%22

re :Is there a limit to the number of email accounts I set up with Thunderbird No.
Please post the following info: In Thunderbird Help > Troubleshooting Information click on 'Copy text to clipboard'
In this forum question, right click in a 'Post a Reply' text box and select 'Paste' Remove/Edit all info fonts and printers as that part of info is not required.

I have fiddled about with it and it seems that Thunderbird had set up my smtp outgoing server without the mail. in front of the rest i.e. mail.forestbooks.org. I must confess that working out how to use Thunderbird requires a bit of patience and ingenuity. I later discovered that emails were not being sent to the 'Sent' folder, and the solution I found by trial and error was to set up another folder called 'Sent Messages' and set up Thunderbird to store sent messages there. I have now deleted the 'Sent' folder altogether.
