Typing on a page (eg to use a keyboard shortcut in gmail) opens the search box which I don't want, how can I change this on fireFox 2? (no 'Advanced' options)

I use an email program in my browser which worked great with its keyboard shortcuts until I updated to Firefox 2 and now using the shortcut (eg r for reply) just opens the search box which stops the keyboard shortcut working and I really need it to work! I googled and all the solutions were for older versions of FF which detailed the 'Advanced' options which aren't there now.

When I try the shortcut a little 'java script void' message flashes up at the bottom, if this helps.

Thanks!

Erm...sorry I found the answer! I just missed it a million times on the General settings page.

Thanks for anyone who was typing an answer though... :)
