How do i block pop up tabs?

What's the point of having "block pop up windows" if everyone, who is using such annoying tactics, is using "pop up tabs" instead? I see this is a much requested feature, why not implement it? As much as i have seen people been asking it from at least 2014!

That being said how do i do the hard way? (through the advanced options that are hidden somewhere for no reason at all).

Sorry for the rant, but all of it just drives me nuts: the fact that there is no option to do it and the fact that Firefox got into stupid trend of hiding advanced options, like many programs do these days. >:(

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.
