getting message website slowing web browser on yahoo and banking website
new since Quantum websites very very slow, hanging when loading. yellow bar appears; "website slowing browser stop or wait" options appear. I also have roboform password mgr that now is dropdown button unlike the toolbar it was prior. Quantum slowed things not sped them up.

Please update to 57.0.2 if have not done so, fix is there : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version
As for your " roboform password mgr " no idea as you never gave a name for it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Try to disable accessibility services in Firefox.
