Hey Team,

Hope you are well!

So, I would really like to move to Quantum, but I can't seem to find something to replace the following adds: - Save Session - Session Manager - Tab Groups.

If someone does have an option for me, can you please add how I can move my current settings over (or if I can move them) please.

Thanks in advance team!

Thnaks for that mate! I have look through, but I am just not sure what adds will take my current settings/tabs etc. I would love to hear from someone who has already made the change using a new version of the three I listed.

Cheers!

Well no one here is going to help with that as I do not use such things. Never have. So long wait os others here do not also. Install and try, disable or remove if do not like, read reviews and google them. There are several there that fit what you want to do. Make a test Profile : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Shows as ver 55 it is unsupported and insecure. You should be on 52.5.3 ESR https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ to protect against below. Or be on 57+. http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/04/technology/spectre-meltdown-cpu-flaws-explainer/index.html

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

This is not a members support site with comments from anyone. Only from Registered Contributors and the odd drive by ....s.

Welcome to hang but your best bet is to do the Profile or can install Developers Edition which has a compatibility mode at end of install so can run both. Note is always a beta https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer/ and run the stuff in there. It does share your bookmarks only. Installs in it's on folders.

How do I get that done please?

No idea what your doing. Can not run both and should not have both installed at the same time. Please explain in detail what you have done and what your trying to do. Thx

Thanks... I am just running one at a time. They are both on my computer, but not both running. On my old FF I have hundreds of tabs open and I would like to transfer all those tabs to Quantum. Is that possible?

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY, FF has no way to SAVE ones OPEN tabs in case of reboots, abends of FF, etc. SESSION MANAGER FOR OLDER versions did a PERFECT JOB BUT, Mozilla ran them out of business but never FIXED the problem of SAVING TABS, SESSIONS.... that I know of. Maybe they dont know about ADVANCED, POWER USERS... that need a Browser for just emails. Hell, IE is good enough for that.

I would like to keep versions up to date but can not. Every day when a new version comes out, large amounts of add-ons disappears we depend on as FF has no substitute for them...

I am forced to try to say on v52 because of that.
