All tabs gone, session restore not working
I used Firefox 58.0.1 on Windows 7 around 3PM this day, I closed it. Everything was fine, no crash. I switched off my computer and went outside.
Now around 5PM I came back, switched on my computer, loaded Firefox and saw that all my 600+ tabs were gone. I found a previous.jsonlz4 from around 3PM. I followed the tips from https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/1189759 , but I simply can't restore that session. I have no menu entry that says "History > Restore Previous Session" and when I visit about:sessionrestore, there's no list of tabs, the box is just blank.
I moved all other jsonlz4 files from the backup folder, replaced sessionstore.js with the file made by the scrounger, but no luck.
Why won't Firefox recognize the file and what else can I do?

I found another thread on Reddit that gave me the solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/78i49o/lost_my_entire_session_of_over_100_tabs/
Had to delete all old files, copy the scrounged previous.js (not the original previous.jsonlz4) to sessionstore-backups, rename it to recovery.js and now Firefox could restore it.
Although it seems I'm missing the most recent 4 to 6 tabs and I don't understand why.
