website dramafever.com streams Korean programs. I have always been able to view programs on this site until the recent Firefox upgrade. Now when I sign in to the site everything looks normal but the programs will not play. I only get a black screen where the video should be streaming. I can view the dramas just fine on Safari so I am certain it has something to do with the new version of Firefox. If I can't fix it I will abandon Firefox as my primary browser.

Hi, do what you have to do.

SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST

REFRESH INSTRUCTIONS

Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.

TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.

Everything works fine in Safe Mode. I could not follow the rest of the instructions. Tried but I have no category on my Library Window that says import and backup so I'm stuck there. Can I just continue to use Firefox in Safe mode? I don't see any difference other than the videos now work. Thanks for your help

I would suppose you could. It would be best to try to do the Refresh but rescue your Profile first.
