When I need to clear history. I cannot see the 'clear' tab in the privacy and security option of Mozilla. I am using windows 7 starter pack.

Hi, open the 3-bar menu > Library > History > Clear Recent History, and select from the options. Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
