How to set password for my profile in Thunderbird 60.0b6?
In previous versions it was possible to protect Profile by password. Thunderbird was prompting for password before it was possible to see any mails / accounts. Where I can find it in new Thunderbird?

Many thanks,
I have decided to downgrade to Thunderbird 52 and use StartupMaster plug-in.

Hi, The ability to set a password prompt when opening Thunderbird has never been part of Thunderbird, so I assume you had an extension installed.
There is one at https://freeshell.de/~kaosmos/profilepassword-en.html I assume that's the one you have installed. On that page, it states that the extension is compatible up to version 52. If it works with Thunderbird 60, the author of the extension will have to mark it as compatible. Hopefully that will happen before Thunderbird 60 is ready for release, in which case, it should get updated from within Thunderbird.
Why are you trying to set a profile password? If you share a computer, create a separate Windows account for each person, and make sure your Windows account requires a password. Thunderbird stores accounts, messages and password information separately for each Windows account.
If you still need help, we'll need some more info about your Thunderbird setup. Go to [=] > Help > Troubleshooting Information then click Copy text to Clipboard. Open a reply to this post, and go to Edit > Paste to paste the info from your Troubleshooting Information page.
Unless he set master password - which isn't intended to (and doesn't) protect the profile and mail.
