If I want thunderbird to always show remote content in mails I have to go to 'privacy' in options. I know how to do this; I have done so in the past.

The problem is that this tab simply isn't there anymore.

What do I do now ?

I have on in the Thunderbird 60 Beta. try restarting in safe mode from the help menu..
