Mac running Thunderbird. i have checked all SMTP settings, ports, etc. I can send an email from my web account with Cox but not from Thunderbird. I have 3 email accounts and they all block my emails outgoing. No signatures attached on any emails. I can do a reply or create a new email- it gets blocked. I have used every help page on this site.I have disabled all extensions, turned off firewall, new password on SMTP. I did install Cox's Anti virus package, McAfee, and it seemed to start then(not sure tho) and then deleted the program as I was not sure this caused it- Ihave not tried to reinstallth elprogramover th eold one.

The error is from your email provider's SMTP server. So you should talk to them why they think your message is spam. If you do use some sort of HTML Signature try to skip it and see if that makes any difference.

I will call my email Co. tomorrow I have tried every setting in the book!! thanks! I was told Cox is installing a new country wide program for on line items?? and I may be the culprit that got caught in the transfer. They finally got my email up an running but I still have to go to "Web Mail" to send out. I have a case # and they will call me when it is fixed-
