Hello,

for a dual installation Windows & Linux, I have

1. made a backup of the Thunderbird profile directory 2. made a symbolic link for .thunderbird, pointing to the Windows TB profile directory 3. started Thunderbird on Linux.

TB immediately started to download things (I believe emails).

Size of Backup: 4213 MB Size of new profile: 3338 MB

Roughly 1 Gigabyte data is missing!!

Some files are new, some old files are gone... and it seems that the bulk of missing data was in a file called 'Entw&APw-rfe-1' (German for Drafts). This file is missing now (see below).

Also the file 'Gesendet-1' (German for Sent-1) is much smaller now.

What is going on? Why has this happened??
