I log in to my on line banking account and suddenly I now get a message - Your browser sent a query this server could not understand. This only started happening a couple of days ago.

Hello glary,

Would you try this please :

Clear the Firefox cache - see :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

And :

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems - see :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-cookies-remove-info-websites-stored

(scroll down to : "Delete cookies for a single site")

Any difference  ?

In addition :

Just in case clearing cookies didn't help, then maybe the "cookies.sqlite" file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the cookies got corrupted.

Rename cookies.sqlite to "cookies.sqlite.old" and (if present) delete "cookies.sqlite-shm" and "cookies.sqlite-wal" in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

Go to the 3-bar menu (or press the Alt key) : Help => Troubleshooting Information => Profile Folder => Open Folder
