Would you please check this setting :

3-bar menu (or Tools) => Options => Privacy & Security Scroll down to "Permissions" and make sure that "Prevent accessibility services from your browser" is unchecked.

The box was already unchecked. Any other ideas?

Maybe you need to check this on and enable accessibility to make this work.

If the above doesn't help, then let's try Firefox in Safe Mode, to see if maybe one of your extensions (if you have any) could be causing this :

If Firefox is not running : Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running : 3-bar menu => ' ? ' (at the bottom of the dropdown) => 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Then OK the restart. A small dialog should appear. Click 'Start in Safe Mode' ( not 'Refresh' !)

All of the ctrl & alt functions worked. What isn't working is the "shift + @" or any other "shift" function.

I don't think that the "Sticky Keys" feature is the issue here.

Would you press the left Alt key and Shift simultaneously and see if that works  ?

That didn't work. Firefox is the only application/program where using "shift + @" (etc) doesn't work.

If you don't have the System Tray icon enabled, turn it on in the PCs settings, or if you have it on already, what happens when you press Shift - the top part of the icon should go black - does it?

Does this apply to both Shift keys or just one?

Your exact version of Win10 might help. From memory; Settings > System > About.

Win 10 Pro - Version 1803

It's odd because I have 2 laptops. One works fine with sticky keys, the other is giving me issues. I might just uninstall & re-install. Was just hoping to avoid doing that.

I can confirm that Sticky Keys works as expected on Win10 for me.

Only thing I can suggest now is:

Restart Firefox.

Restart your PC. Note that unless you have turned off Fast Startup, shutting down and cold booting will not work, because in Win10 'Shutdown' doesn't actually shutdown the PC, it just goes into a sort of hibernation!

Try a Clean Reinstall; this means you remove your Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. This process does not remove your Firefox profile data (such as bookmarks and passwords), since that information is stored in a different location. With Firefox closed, use another browser to download Firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and save the file to somewhere convenient on your computer.

Now delete the Firefox installation folder which should be in one of the following locations -

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

You can now double click the file you previously downloaded to install Firefox.
