Hello LaurenDiane12,

Would you try this please :

Clear the Firefox cache :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-cookies-remove-info-websites-stored (scroll down to : "Delete cookies for a single site")

Separate issue :

Your system details show that you are running a very old Flash version, which can cause problems. Would you please install the latest version :

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Note : some "extras" may be offered with the download.

Your system details also show that you are running a very old Firefox version, that no longer gets security updates. The latest release version is 63.0.1

In case you need the ESR version :

To download the latest ESR Firefox version for Linux 64-bit or 32-bit in your preferred language : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

Unless you visit sites that (still) use Java and you are therefore running the latest ESR version that will still support Java : http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/

You can also check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
