I want to use auto fill but it isn't in Privacy and Security
I've done a search on the internet on how to find the auto fill facility. This search leads me to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatically-fill-address-and-credit-cards which says I should click on the "Forms and Passwords" section which does not exist. There is, however, "Logins and Passwords" but nothing here to do with Forms. So my question is, how do I use the auto fill facility?

Hello John9159,
Would you check this please :
Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)
Type in the search bar extensions.formautofill.available
If its value is set to "detect", then change it to on.
If you had to change the value, then close and restart Firefox.
I hope that works ......
Sadly it did not work. I'm experiencing all manner of problems with Firefox which appeared overnight: I have to log into my email account each time I try to access it rather than it remebering my log in details; Bookmarked sites no longer remember my log in details; Mozilla regularly crashes Thanks for your help all the same. Life was so much easier when I used AOL but the desktop version ended and I was forced to seek an alternative. All the best
I think there are other issues with your settings. My settings clearly shows it.
