Let me see if I understand you correctly : you want to remove all the recent search entries that you see on the list, the next time you enter a search request, is that right  ?

When you see that list, do you see at the right side of the first two entries a highlighted 'Remove'  ?

When you click on that, you can remove that entry and every other entry you want to remove from that list.

I've just tried it, but I don't want to remove all those entries, cause they might come in handy - save me a lot of time having to type the same thing again.

But something tells me that this isn't what you want either (?)

i don't think this is possible in firefox. i'm assuming most users want to have keep their input in the searchbar in order to be able to make small adjustments based on the results or search for the same term in a different search engine.

Ok thanks for all your Answers. I remember in 2014 or 15 was a Plugin named sarchLoad Options that can do so but it does´nt exist anymore.
