Hi, I loved the older Firefox because I could make it look how I liked with "Classic Theme Restorer" but that is not available for the newer FireFox. So I thought I might try making something similar for this FireFox Quantum 65.0.1. I just want to start with something simple. Changing the tab colours to light green when selected, dark green when not selected and red if a new tab has not been selected/read yet. I would like to work with someone that would be happy to help me do this so I can also learn some basics of extensions for FireFox. Thankyou, Glenn

With Quantum extension developers are really limited as to what they could do to customize the UI (User Interface), which is one reason Classic Theme Restorer and many other extensions aren't compatible and died (or were killed off by Mozilla). Same holds true for Themes, but for a variety of other reasons.

userChrome.css modifications are what's done with Quantum. https://www.userchrome.org/ https://www.howtogeek.com/334716/how-to-customize-firefoxs-user-interface-with-userchrome.css/

Here is code that can be used that is similar to what the Classic Theme Restorer extension previously did for Firefox in the Australis UI. https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx

And here is a collection of userChrome.css codes that is probably the ultimate guide. https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/
