How do I translate a page that's in a different language?

What setting do I go to on Firefox to translate a page. Because I looked on Google and it said you have a language setting in the advanced settings but I don't have it.

Hi lunacoremelody, as far as I know, Firefox does not have a built-in translator on either Android or any other platform.

You could try an add-on or two. For example, "Page Translator Revised" adds an icon to the address bar. When you tap it, the address of the current page is loaded into Google Translate (or Bing). It adds an icon into the address bar you tap to do that. There are others to translate a selection, but I didn't try any of them.

To search for add-ons from within Firefox to Android, you can:

tap the menu button > Add-ons > "Browse all Firefox Add-ons"

Then on the add-ons site, do a search for translate and there will be many choices, some of which are probably good, but many of which may not really make sense on mobile.
