I want to avoid my own signature being displayed when I send emails?

Reason: a bit naughty :-)

I include HTML signature and in the HTML, I call a server side file which does some logging and then throws a picture after setting the header content for the picture, etc.

So, every-time I write an email, my info also gets logged :-)

Sometimes signatures are appended at the email server after the message is sent - those signatures must be managed by changing settings at your ISP's website.

Assuming that TB is adding the Signature, you have some options.

First, in TB, under the Tools menu: select "Account Settings" Then, select the email account that you want to manage the signature on. Uncheck the checkbox on the line "Attach the signature from a file instead" Empty out the signature text box. Click the triangle to the left of the account name to 'tip it down' and reveal the 7 submenus below ... Select the line that reads "Composition and Addressing" Uncheck the checkboxes on the lines "Include signature for replies" and "Include signature for forwards" Then click the OK button. (Refer to the attached screenshots.)

You need to add in your signature code manually on messages you still want that signature on. TB doesn't have many options for signatures ... like multiple signatures you can select from, sorry.
