Audio in websites like Youtube don't work. I've tried everything in the "won't play any sounds" article but no dice. Still works in other browsers however.

Windows 8 user here. I've been using Pale Moon over the past couple years, but it's gotten so unstable that I jumped back to Firefox. But, no matter what I do, website audio (primarily Youtube but it doesn't work in other sites) just refuses to work in Firefox.

1. I have it set so that all possible audio output options except for my Realtek Speakers are disabled, even after closing and reopening Firefox, rebooting the computer, etc.

2. I have tried the Youtube HTML/Flash plugin to do different tests. Doesn't work regardless if it's HTML5 or Flash. Flash has been updated to its latest version.

3. The problem still persists in Safe Mode and after reinstalling Firefox

4. I've updated my audio drivers

5. I'm on the newest version of Firefox

6. Audio works literally everywhere else, even on other web browsers like Pale Moon

7. I've sacrificed a sheep in the name of Mozilla, but still no dice.

I'm at my wit's end, here. Pale Moon is unstable, Firefox is terminally mute, and I don't wanna risk Chrome's lack of privacy. What should I do?

As a follow-up addition, no Firefox isn't muted in the audio mixer

Hello OrangeGladiator,

Could you please provide a screenshot of your audio device management page and a screenshot of your 'dxdiag' page's audio tab?

Thanks!

Thank you for the response. Here is the information. I had to crop it weirdly so it would fit under the file size limit.
