How do I change the default "add" reminder setting (15 minutes before event starts) for custom reminders?
I usually set custom reminders in multiple of days. For example, before the latest update, clicking 'Add' in the custom reminder window gave '0 Days before'. 'Add' again gave an identical reminder, which I could increase to, say, 1 day by clicking the Up arrow. Hitting Add again, added a third reminder identical to the one I'd just edited (1 day, in this case), which I could change to, say 3 days and so on. Now, however, every 'Add' gives 15 minutes before, irrespective of what I've already put in the window. I don't mind so much having to change 15 minutes to 0 days to start with, but then having to change all the subsequent reminders from 15 minutes to however many days I want is an unnecessary pain. Something that wasn't broken seems to have been 'fixed' in a very unhelpful manner.

If you change 'Default time a reminder is set before an event (or task)' to 1 or 2 or... days in Tools/Options/Calendar/Reminders, then that will change the 'Add' default in the Custom reminder dialog to 1 or 2 or... days (see picture).

Thanks very much. That solves the problem. (Personally, I still think it would be better to 'Add' the preceding delay as before, rather than the default every time, because it's more likely that a series of increasing length will be required, but that's another conversation.)
