Hi there

Since updating to 72.0.2 on a Mac, CSS mask-size no longer works. Any element with the mask-image no longer displays, removing the mask-size from the CSS, everything displays again, but obviously without the mask element.

Are you doing any zooming in or zooming out? I found a bug related to this on bugzilla.

It might be worth submitting a new bug, however, if you find the responses in that thread don't work for you.

A reload and bypass the cache might work as well.

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

@evhenry, not zooming in, but sounds very similar. Initially the mask loads/displays correctly, but when scrolling the page, they disappear and don't reappear. Other times, some of the mask load and display fine, others don't. Thanks for your reply.

@cor-el, tried closing all tabs, clearing all history and cache and a hard reload but the mask still disappears on scroll. Thanks for your reply.
