Using the latest version of Firefox 72.0.2 (64-bit) running in Windows 10. When I type into the Firefox Address bar I get Incorrect special characters. When I type a forward Slash /, instead I get a dash - the same happens with other special character using a QWRTY keyboard on a laptop. When I type anywhere else either using the Chrome and Edge Browser, Wordpad, Notepad, MS Word or inside any webpage textbox control; I don´t get these errors. This only happens when typing into the Forefox Browser address bar or any webpage textbox control when using the Firefox browser.

My Email Address is V*******6@gmail.com.

Do you have a keylogger or anything else installed that might be affecting input?

Do you have multiple keyboard layouts installed in Windows?

Windows remembers the keyboard layout setting per application and tt is possible you accidentally changed the keyboard layout by using a key sequence to rotate the keyboard layout or otherwise changed the layout.
