All three of my FB emails worked yesterday on my PC but one will not send or receive today. When trying to receive, the above message pops up. When trying to send the following pops up: Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again. All three emails work on my Android.

Your post says there's an authentication error connecting to the incoming server imap.gmail.com, and a different error when sending on smtp.gmail.com.

First, select an account in the left pane of Tools/Account Settings, then look at the Outgoing Server (SMTP) drop-down in the lower right pane. Click Edit SMTP server and check that the User Name is the same as for the selected account. Repeat for the other accounts. After you have confirmed that each account is sending through the correct smtp, open Tools/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, delete the passwords, restart TB, and enter the correct passwords when prompted. The OAuth browser window will appear for the IMAP accounts.

If you update to 68.5 from Help/About TB, you can change the authentication method for the POP account to OAuth2.

Authentication failure means that the User Name, password or authentication type for the outgoing server is incorrect.

Help/Troubleshooting, click Copy text to clipboard, paste in a reply here, omitting everything below Security Software.
