When I share a page to another app, it only passes the URL not the title of the page, which is really frustrating.

Hi

I am sorry, I am not sure I understand. What do you mean by "title"?

For instance, if I chose to share a page open in the browser to another app, the app should normally display the page title (sometimes with am image) followed by the link for people to click on (e.g. via WhatsApp). This happens correctly in Edge for instance, but not Firefox preview which only shares the URL. Does that help?

Normally links are shared to other apps or email etc with page title, sometimes image if available and then URL. This works correctly in Edge for instance but FF preview only shares the URL. Make more sense? Thanks.

Hi

Thank you for the clarification. I think that other browsers are taking the address and then fetching the icon and the title of the page. Firefox for Android does not do this as it may slow down the sharing experience, but it is certainly something that we can look into for a future update.
