Hello good4science,

I assume that you're talking about this add-on (?) :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/malwarebytes/

You should be able to remove it when you go to the 3-bar menu => Add-ons => Extensions.

There you should see the extension listed - on the right side you'll see three dots; when you click on them you'll get the option to remove the extension.
