How to hide the details of my browsing from Little Snitch.

I’m currently trying the software Little Snitch (a firewall controlling outgoing and incoming connections) and I have been surprised to see that all my Firefox browsing was listed and monitored by it. As I’m used to regularly delete my history and use private windows, I’m not comfortable with the fact that all my browsing information goes in Little Snitch and stay in there.

So I’m wondering if there is a way to hide the details of my browsing from Little Snitch. Is Firefox can be configured to do so?

And can we trust this company (Objective Development, owner of Little Snitch) or can they collect that information?

Thanks for your help, it’s appreciated!

Can you add a program exception to Little snitch so it doesn't observe the program's input/output? Otherwise, this isn't really something configurable on firefox's side, as it's a secondary program watching it, and private windows won't prevent such a firewall from seeing what you're doing.

I have no idea if Objective Development is an above-board company so to speak, or anything like that :(

Thanks for your answers Eve and cor-el.

Effectively, connections in Firefox private windows are recorded. Same thing when using a VPN.

However, I found that it is possible in Little Snitch to make some connections private. But I don’t understand yet if these connections will no longer be shown on the network monitor but still be monitored in the background or if Little Snitch will completely stop monitoring these private connections. In any case, I would prefer to find a solution outside of the software, because I don’t know if the company is trustworthy regarding privacy. And I cannot find information about it…
