I am running Thunderbird ver 68.12.1 (32 bit) on Windows 7 Professional (64 bit). Thunderbird was working just fine until it upgraded to 68.12.1. Now I can't download my email to my local disk. I get the following error message: "Could not connect to server inbound.att.net; the connection was refused"

I see that there are problems upgrading to Thunderbird Ver 78, so I'd like to downgrade to Ver 68.12.0 (the previous version to 68.12.1).

Either - how to manually downgrade to 68.12.0 (if possible) or is there another workaround?

In the Error Console I saw a message that there was a database error. I tried deleting the global-messages-db.sqlite file and restarting Thunderbird. This step did not remedy the problem. Thanks, Joe
