firefox not connecting to google, amazon or ebay
Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue
Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.google.co.uk because this web site requires a secure connection.
What can you do about it?
www.google.co.uk has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.
The issue is most likely with the web site, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.
If you are on a corporate network or using anti-virus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.
Hi I've uninstalled firefox and redownloaded several times and each time I've had the same result. I don't want to stop using firefox but unless this issue is resolved will have no alternative. Any help would be much appreciated, TIA

Hello b,
I dont have issues with connecting to the https link you provided nor the us version, ie www_google_com (replace "_" with ".")
And i dont have issues with connecting to amazon and ebay either.
Something's wrong with your certificate. Can you click the Advanced button and paste here this certificate?
I cannot get the certificate to cut and paste here. I've tried screen shots and even scanned in the **#!! thing but still cannot get it to copy.
