Thunderbird opens in trash folder in Peppermint Linux. I have check for email on start checked. I want it to open in the inbox. Closing from the inbox does not help.

Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Directory, close TB, delete session.json. Restart TB a few times and see if it opens in the folder that was open at last closing.

That has not solved the problem. Also I cannot find the file session.json. From the reading that I have done that file is a windows file and I am running peppermint linux.
