Hi there,

Every time I log in to gmail.com I need to enter my email address and then password, both manually.

The password is one of those super secure computer generated type.

I keep a copy of course, but is there a means by which I can have both these references ready to go please?

Thank you

johnny

First, let's make sure the setting are correct. Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address box. Look under Logins,

Note: For Firefox v56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords Or type about:logins<enter> in the address box. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.

Press the Exceptions button and see what's inside.

Warning: There are some web pages that do not allow browsers to record or fill in the log-in information.

One user had a problem with the Password Manager not filling in the login data. But after removing the data, and entering the login manually, the manager then worked properlly.
