When I browse a site and try to play the video in that site it shows something like " to play the video, you may need to install the required video codecs ". I am using Ubuntu 20.04 OS and Firefox 99.0 . Please help me regarding this issue. Thanks in advance.

In order to fully support HTML5 players on Linux for video, audio and even games you need to make sure you have packages like FFmpeg installed as it is not normally installed during a new Linux distro install due to patent and copyright restrictions.
