Hi, I had to update from an older version of TB to the latest due to the gmail security changes. I had an security/authentication issue that was brilliantly solved by a contributor here. I have now realised that the update caused another problem ... my address book is empty. I have been doing much searching and reading about this and it seems that the problem is that there was a failure to convert the old .mab address file to the new .sqlite address file that the newer TB version uses. What I could not really find is the definitive answer. I do not have any .mab.bak files in my profile folder. I have: * abook.mab(44KB and filled with addresses) * abook.sqlite (256KB and filled with zeros) * history.mab (77KB and filled with addresses) * history.sqlite (256KB and filled with zeros) From what I read, the option open to me is to downgrade TB (all the others appear to rely on the .mab.bak files), export the address book, upgrade TB again and then import the exported address book. What I'm hoping is that someone here know a simpler way in which I can get the new TB to convert or "see" the old .mab file. Many thanks.
