On 12-8-22 I updated my email address in my Mozilla/Firefox acct. (I have an iMac w/Catalina operating system, but am using the latest version of FireFox.) Today is 12-15-22 & autofill is still inputting my old email address. I've been all thru FireFox preferences, "privacy & security" & autofill, but cannot find a way to make it autofill using my updated email address. I need step by step instructions on how to replace my old email address with my new email address in autofill.

THANKS in advance for any & all help!!

In Windows my autofill will update asking for updating the new login when a new login is used. Did you not see this notification to update your autofill login?

Suggestions in a login drop-down list that have a key icon in front are login suggestions that you need to remove in the Password Manager.

Suggestions in a drop-down list without a key symbol are autocomplete saved form data. Suggestions without a key icon are part of autocomplete saved form data that you should be able to remove by selecting this item with the cursor Down key and pressing Delete (Mac: Shift+Delete).
