It is unimaginably bad that this has been an issue for over 5 years now.

Seeing your entire history and all your bookmarks easily is the BARE MINIMUM you can expect from a browser.

Yet these functions on firefox are STILL barely passable.

Please fix asap. It's no wonder so many people use chrome.

You can drag the Bookmarks Menu button that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list and drag the Library button that gives access to recent bookmarks and history from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar. The Bookmarks Menu button has a "View bookmarks sidebar" menu item.
