115 installed itself today. In trying to figure out how to customize the toolbars so I'd only see what I want and need, the Mail Toolbar vanished (there's still a white space where it had been, but selections are all gone).

How do I get the Mail Toolbar back?

In 115* there is no 'Mail Toolbar'. I has been replaced by the 'Unified Toolbar'. The 'Unified Toolbar' automatically has the Global Search and on far right the menu app icon. It can be Customised. Good info here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/unified-toolbar

The 'Menu Bar' which has File Edit View is still available. Click on the Menu app icon (3 lines) 'View' > 'Toolbars' > select 'Menu Bar'
