Issue with Firefox Sync After windows Reset
Dear Mozilla Support Team,
I recently had to reset my Windows operating system. After reinstalling Mozilla Firefox, I attempted to sign in to my Firefox account. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my password and had to reset it. Although I successfully signed in after resetting my password, none of my previously synchronized data, including passwords and bookmarks, appeared.
I had performed a synchronization before the reset, so I expected my data to be restored upon signing in. However, this did not happen, and I am now unable to access my important passwords and bookmarks. Could you please assist me in recovering my data? I rely heavily on this information for my daily activities and would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,

Witcher0010, unfortunately your data would have been deleted from the Sync servers when the Mozilla account password was reset.
I think that the only way to recover it is if either you have another device with the data on it, or the data still exists within local files on your device.
Regarding the latter option, when you reset your computer did you choose to remove all user files from the system? Do you have a (possibly hidden) "C:\Windows.old" directory? If you do, then your data might be recoverable from there? Sorry, but I am not an expert on Windows resets and where it saves any user files tht it keeps.

Note that if you reset the password for the Mozilla account because you do not remember this password, then that will remove all data stored on the Sync server because this password is used to encrypt your data locally before it is uploaded to the Sync server and only this password or a possible recovery key you created earlier can decrypt this data.
