Android cell phone
I own a 'BlackDroidBerry' cell phone--a Blackberry Key2 LE--which came with Firefox installed. I don't know how to determine which version of Firefox that is.
Is there a way to update the Firefox on this phone without granting access to the 'Google Play Store'? Because I value my privacy, I have this phone locked down so tightly that all it can do is receive text messages, make phone calls, and use Firefox. I REALLY don't want to let Google past my personal firewall....

Go into the apps settings to see the version of Firefox and you know you have to use the play store to update it.
Short of side loading the Firefox apk, the Google Play is the way to keep Firefox updated.
