Thunderbird System Notification customization

more options

Thunderbird 128.7.1esr (64-bit)

There is a serious lack of customization for system notifications. And I consider this a problem.

I specifically want to disable email server authentification failure notifications. MS email servers just occasionally drop an authentification request, and I don't want to be alerted every time it does. Wait 10 minutes and it'll work again, I don't need to see every failure.

I'm probably just going to end up blocking the app from system notifications entirely. But figured I'd ask, just in case there is something I'm missing.

Also, there isn't any easy way to get to Advanced Settings from the Tools > Settings menu, short of typing about:config into the box.

Hello there We have read the question We try to help

can I ask, do you ask for some help? Or do you just like to use better functions?

The develop team tries to prepare as best as possible for answers like the ones you are told here. We also like to appreciate previous versions of Thunderbird.

I assume you are a big PC wizzard and you like to see your favorite program and the missing buttons appear in your program. Check the upcoming versions of Thunderbird, maybe your desired topic is there.
