Saving Private Window Tabs when restarting
Due mostly to upgrades in the app software, it's necessary to restart Firefox on occasion. Also, it's necessary due to OS upgrades. While the Restore Previous Session is a wonderful feature, it arbitrarily (and properly, by default) forgets all of the Private Tabs. But, there are times when I'd like to save some or all of the Private Tabs I've got open. A 'settable' feature to 'Remember Private Tabs during Restart' would be a tremendous asset at times.

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. If you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
Antiquetuck, as a workaround you can bookmark all private tabs, then later reload them before deleting the folder that you saved them to.
You can bookmark all tabs in several ways. For example, on Windows:
- press ctrl+shift+D
- open the bookmarks menu (press alt+B) then select "Bookmark All Tabs"
- right-click a tab in the tab bar to open a tab menu, and choose "Select All Tabs" then "Bookmark Tabs" from this menu
