It seems you have a few issues. Let me address each separately:

  • Your IE favorites aren't in Firefox
    1. In Firefox, go to File->Import
    2. Choose Internet Explorer
    3. Select only Favorites
    4. Press Finish to complete the import process
    5. Your favorites will be in Bookmarks->From Internet Explorer
  • You can't get to Internet Explorer
    • Firefox doesn't change anything with Internet Explorer. You can still find this either on the desktop or in Start->All Programs.
    • If you can't find the menu item, follow these steps:
      1. Go to Start->Run
      2. Type iexplore
      3. Pres OK
  • Firefox won't work properly
    • Explain what isn't working in Firefox, and I can try to help with the problem.
