How do I turn off 'additional plug-ins' pop-up reminder? I don't want them installed! Audio and video ads are annoying.

How do I turn off 'additional plug-ins' pop-up reminder? When I'm surfing websites or Facebook, for example, I keep getting the little pop-up, that reduces my screen size, saying additional plug-ins are available to play all content. I don't want them installed! Audio and video ads are annoying. If I want it I'll click it.

Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter. If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Pref = plugins.hide_infobar_for_missing_plugin - double-click that preference to toggle it to true

Then restart Firefox.

Edmeister, that seems to have done the trick. Thank you very much!
