Under add/remove programs am unable to remove Simply Accounting

Under add/remove programs, when I highlight and click on Simply Accounting, message comes up as,"Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close...sorry for inconvenience" with a "close" button. Initially was able to remove several days ago, but it has re-appeared and cannot be removed by normal process. Thanks, Carleton
